The Asian Man Photography Book: Vol 1

£35.00

Created over more than a year, The Asian Man brings together 240 pages of striking portraiture, personal style and conversation, celebrating South Asian men from across the global diaspora.

At its heart, the book is about style, not in a trend-led sense, but as a reflection of identity, culture and lived experience. Across the pages, you’ll find designers, artists, musicians and creatives, each sharing their perspective through the way they dress, the way they live and the stories they carry.

The book opens with a foreword by Imran Amed, founder of The Business of Fashion, helping frame why this moment matters, and why representation with depth and intention is so important.

CARE & MAINTENANCE

This book has been produced with longevity in mind.

To keep it in its best condition, we recommend storing it upright on a shelf, away from direct sunlight and excessive humidity. Handle with clean, dry hands to preserve the cover and pages, and avoid placing heavy objects on top when laid flat.

As with any printed object, gentle use will ensure it ages beautifully over time.

How we got here

This short film gives a small glimpse into how The Asian Man came together. The shoots, the conversations, the learning curve, and the people who trusted the project enough to be part of it.

What started as a community online slowly became something physical. Built over time, shaped by the people in front of the camera as much as the ones behind it.

This isn’t a polished highlight reel. It’s a look at the process, the care, and the belief that these stories are worth holding onto. A reminder that this book exists because of community, patience, and a shared desire to see ourselves represented properly.
